The Band of Love

This band is for anyone who wants to party! Whether weddings, anniversaries, private parties and special events, we provide the ultimate in pop, jazz, motown, dancin' and dinner music.

I feel very fortunate to be working with these amazing musicians: Keith Levreault, formerly of the band "Love Bomb", brings his metronomic timing on drums; Jon Weeks (from Viva Quetzal) plays sax and flute and rhythm thangs; myself (read all about me on this site!) on bass and keys, Sue Burkhart wailing on gee-tar and crooning on back-ups, Julia Slone on beautiful lead vocals, keys,violin and another guitar, and dynamo Samirah Evans a-singin', a-energizin' and a-feelin' it!

No full length (public) gigs in the near future, but we were honored to play a set at the Brattleboro Diversity Day on May 7th of last year, at 6 PM. We brought the boogie to the streets (Main Street was be blocked off) and say hey!
