Welcome to the website of multi-instrumentalist and educator Jay Cook. Based in Brattleboro, Vermont, Jay has performed in a number of different genres, from West African to jazz to funk to R&B. Jay regularly plays with four groups: African Rhythms & World Music, Bill Shontz (kids' music), Soulsearchers (dance, wedding) and Jazzberry Jam (jazz/R&B). Jay also gives solo performances in World Music at schools and libraries, and teaches music at the Hilltop Montessori School.
